2G competition
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the magazine 2G, the spanish publisher Gustavo Gili decided to organize an international competition, collecting ideas on the re-definition of Venice as a contemporary city.
The theme “Lagoon Park” aims to reflect on the lagoon of Venice as the necessary metropolitan space of the city, and started from the design of a 33ha artificial island.
From the very beginning we have been asked to work on the ideation of the theme and the definition of the set of rules, to act as advisor of the jury panel, and to curate the presentation of the results during the 2008 architecture biennale, which took place on a floating 2G pavilion.
